End of Year Fundraiser, Homeless Service This Sunday, New Years Eve Talent Show & More

Last Sunday we continued our series entitled WORK HARD, PRAY HARD!  We explored the questions “What are reasons why prayers go unanswered? What happens when prayers go unanswered?”  In part 3 we discussed how we should Keep Praying Until You Get a Clear Answer.

Unfortunately due to unforeseen issues with our technology, we were unable to get a recording of last Sunday’s message.

This Coming Sunday’s Discussion Questions
1. Why do you think prayer is so important for the world today?
2. What is specifically needed to build a strong, deep prayer life? Give examples.

CHURCH SERVICES, SPECIAL EVENTS & OTHER NEWS
End of the Year Giving: I want to thank all of you who have generously supported the ministry at St. Anianus Church during 2016.  At a time when many of you are planning your end of the year financial gifts, I want to let you know about what we have planned for 2017 and how you can help us reach our end of the year goal of $80K.  This is how your financial gifts will be
1. Investment in the building project (80%): we believe we are getting close to a building God is preparing for us to purchase in 2017, so we ask you to keep this in your prayers.
2. Investment in a local ministry work (10%): 2016 was a tremendous year of service amongst the under-resourced in Trenton.  Among the most successful of the services was our Thanksgiving weekend meal, in which we provided a warm Turkey dinner for nearly 100 people.  This weekend we will be providing scarfs, gloves, hats, socks, and a meal for roughly 100 homeless in Trenton and we hope to expand on this service in 2017.
3. Investment in a global mission work (10%): We believe God is calling us to launch out onto an international mission in 2017 to either Egypt or Zambia.  The need in both of those places is tremendous, and we will likely be taking about 12-15 missionaries.
You may make a tax-deductible gift via Credit Card HERE or mail checks to:
